Missions
are a very important ministry at Lakeside. We as a church
believe that our primary responsibility is to get the Gospel
into the whole world. The Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20,
lays this responsibility squarely on our shoulders. We take
this responsibility seriously and encourage every member to
become involved by making a Faith Promise to the Mission
program. Be a “Mission Mobilizer”. Mobilizers are wholly
committed to the task and are just as important as the “front-
line” workers.
Lakeside
needs "Mission Mobilizers" with ideas on how to
promote missions, raise support, encourage involvement in
missions and people who are convinced that prayer is the
primary power that will help those on the
"front-lines."
Now, in a
new millennium of missions, it is high time we mobilize.
Anything short of this will abort the fulfillment of the great
commission of our Lord. |
"Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
